John Terry has admitted it was “agony” to leave Chelsea after 21 years, but reveals he wants to return as manager at Stamford Bridge.

Terry was unveiled by Aston Villa on Monday on a one-year contract.

But the defender is already planning for a return to Stamford Bridge alongside fellow ex-Chelsea star Frank Lampard.

“I think that is the goal for all of us. Me and Lamps have had those conversations and spoken.

“Do you dream too big? I don’t think you can ever dream too big.

“I have always wanted to be the very best and if that is in management and Chelsea is the one, then in my world that would be incredible,” Terry said.
